"Beyond uncertainty, there's always a new beginning."
- Becca Posterino
New Beginnings is a long-form audio documentary produced with the support of the Community Broadcasting Foundation and 2XX 98.3FM Community Radio Canberra.
New Beginnings explores the personal stories of migrants, asylum seekers, and refugees in Canberra and Australia. Each thirty-minute episode is presented as a stand-alone program and can be listened to sequentially as an interconnected twelve-part audio podcast documentary series.

New Beginnings explores the importance of English language programs, particularly at the Secondary Introductory English Centre (SIEC) and the Refugee Bridging Program at Dickson College in Canberra's north.

The documentary examines the historical, cultural and political intersections that have shaped Australia's relationship to immigration. New Beginnings will serve as an important media and historical archive and can be utilised as a resource for community organisations, learning institutions, government bodies, and Non-Government Organisations.
